MTV's Johnny Bananas Visits Kasey!
During Memorial Weekend, 2015, MTV's Johnny Bananas visited Kasey in San Diego!
Kasey was the recipient of the Diem Strong Award and was presented with a check for $8000...funds raised by Johnny selling #DiemStrong t-shirts.
Johnny also brought along an MTV film crew who caught the action that included a surprise and an epic workout with Johnny and Kasey at a local stadium. Kasey was in the midst of her 42week chemotherapy treament but managed to push through Johnny's spirited program that included sprinting with a parachute, stair climbs and agility sets!
At the end of the work, Johnny and Kasey exchanged jerseys...Johnny's winning top from the "Free Agents" Challenge and Kasey's #3 Arsenal FC San Diego goalkeeper top.
Johnny and Kasey remain good friends and have had several other workouts together since meeting...although Kasey is now kicking some butt on those days!
