Kasey represented Rady Children's Hospital's Peckham Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders during the Perfect Game All-American Baseball Classic, 2018.
Kasey spoke at the banquet, addressed the player announcement news conference at Petco Park, threw out first pitch to former Padre pitcher, Trevor Hoffman on game day and was an honorary player in the West squad dugout on match day.
