Kasey Harvey: 2016 Ace Hardware Foundation All-Star!
During January, 2016, Kasey was announced as the "2016 National Ace Hardware Foundation All-Star Ambassador" at her school assembly. During the announcement, a check for $10,000 was presented to Rady Children's Hospital in recognition of Kasey's nomination through the hospital.
The Ace All-Star becomes the face of the Ace Hardware Foundation for the year as they raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospital's across the United States.
During her year as the "Ace All-Star", Kasey attended several Ace Hardware conferences, Foundation golf-outing fundraisers, Ace Hardware store visits and fundraising events, toured Ace Hardware's corporate headquarters in Chicago, IL, and co-hosted the annual Ace / Golf Channel Celebrity Golf Shootout in Hawaii.
Kasey's duties througout the year included speaking at the Ace Hardware conference in Chicago and presenting them with their 10th consecutive J.D Power and Associates award, speaking at the annual Ace Foundation vendor golf outing in Chicago and another in Houston, Texas, and appearing on all Ace Hardware promotional fundraising material and media.
The year cumulated with attending the annual CMN Hospitals "Momentum" event week in Orlando, Florida where Kasey performed various media promotions that included Miss USA, former NFL Quarterback, Steve Young and CMN's Marie Osmond.
It was an amazing year that raised over $10million for CMN Hospitals nationwide (a 40% increase over 2015) and $60,000 locally for Rady Children's Hospital, San Diego (an increase of 32%).
